So. News from the doctor regarding my hand, for those that aren’t on Discord and subject to my constant complaining: I broke my finger. Yup. I’ve also bruised the majority of the rest of the fingers on that hand, too, but fortunately only one is broken.
However! I’m still committed to getting Dark done this month. I’ll do my best with regular Self Insert, too, but it may run over into May. May might just end up being a catch up month at this rate...
unfortunately, I can only type for about ten minutes at a time before I have to take a half an hour break to rest my hand. It’s really quite painful, even through the painkillers I rock for my back. So that’s saying something. But! I will endure! For my art, I shall suffer!
I’m still salty I can’t paint my Cursed City minis because of this. They’re taunting me, waiting for me, begging me to paint them...
I’ve also done something I really should have done two years ago before I started writing Dark, and I’ve watched Lawrence of Arabia. I’m also committed to watching it again while I’m not flying high on extra painkillers lol. But it really made me stop and think about my characters and world building. It’s given me ideas.
Now, I’m gonna wrap up this rambling mess of an update, because I gotta be up hella early to go find a car battery. Thank you all for your continued support and for bearing with all the delays this month. Nagaspeed, friends!
