Preview/Update 108

Whoops! Totally forgot about this yesterday. My bad. Hey, look! Another blue-haired girl for SI!Ben to mess with! Yay!

Good news! Chapter four of the Self Insert is done and with Rice for editing! Blame him for me forgetting to post an update yesterday; he required rewrites. But, tis done! Now, if I can just get this Blazing Trinity chapter done, I’ll call 2020 less of a bag of suck when it ends.

I forgot I’m meant to be taking a break next month. Of course, I have to write. It’s just part of who I am. But, I’m taking a break from the update schedule, which will resume in February with another Self Insert chapter. January? I’m gonna spend working on some original content! Because, yeah, apparently I don’t do breaks. If what I get done is worth half a damn, I’ll share it here. I’ve got two projects planned, so we’ll see what happens.

So, a joke on the Discord server spiralled way out of control, and long story short I’m writing a parody isekai story in the form of a light novel. That’s one of the projects, and because light novels are generally quite short (about the length of a standard novella) I’m hoping to have a draft done by the end of the month. We’ll see, though. Think of it like an original version of my self insert. That’s what I’m aiming for. Basically, a normal dude wakes up in an elf forest and ends up getting dragged to their village. Shenanigans ensue. I’ve already got a rough plot outlined and am working on a core cast of characters, so... apparently this is happening.

I will, of course, be sharing anything I produce during the month of January. So I won’t be putting a hold on Patreon or anything, just... chilling on the Fire Emblem for a month.

Did that make sense? I hope it did, I’m very tired lol.

I don’t think I have anything else to say. I have next week off work (thank god!), so I’m looking forward to just chilling out for a while. Paint some minis, play some Diablo, just chill.
