Preview/Update 105

Hola, everyone! Hope your November was good! Have a look at possibly one of my favorite jokes from Blazing Trinity so far. Our little girl is growing up...

So, Blazing Trinity just isn’t happening this month. I’m usually quite reluctant to say this, but I think I’m gonna scrap the half of the chapter I’ve already written and start again. Except for that joke. That joke is staying. But, yeah, November has been a bad month for me, and my writing has really suffered for it. I am sorry. It always seems to be Blazing Trinity that I stumble on, doesn’t it?

Next month is a Self Insert chapter, though! So look forward to that. Those are easy, all stream of consciousness stuff. I’ll do my best to get that and SI!Dark done quick and get back to Blazing Trinity.

... shit, I forgot to put the Dark polls up last week. There is an alarm on my phone! I have set an alarm to remind me as soon as I get home!

Real life remains depressing and boring. I’ve never really said why I’m going through this depressive episode lately, did I? I may have mentioned it before, but I have a chronic back injury. I have been in constant pain since I was ten years old. It never stops. It never goes away. And after twenty years of no one caring or being willing to help (fuck you Australian Public Healthcare!), I’m kinda getting to the end of my rope here. I am trying to stay upbeat, though. I have my writing, and my painting, so I’m still creating, which really does a lot to help. Art is a real lifesaver. Art and pizza. Pizza is life.

Okay, less depressing news, less depressing news... So, I picked up Crystar on PS4 fucking ages ago, and I've finally gotten around to trying it out. It's got a real Black Rock Shooter aesthetic to the art direction, and the gameplay has that FuRyu feel that I loved so much in the Ar Tonelico games. So far it's been pretty slow, but it's an interesting, if somewhat standard, action JRPG kinda thing. It definitely feels like one of those things that’s gonna try to blindside me with the feels, though, so I’m mentally preparing myself. Speaking of mental preparation, I’m psyching myself up for the remastered Mass Effect trilogy next year. It’s been a while since I’ve played through all three in one go, so I gotta prepare myself. I’m super excited for it!

Just a reminder, but I’m still planning to take January off. Also, next year I’m gonna start dating these updates instead of numbering them...
