Preview/Update 92

Here we are again, another weekly preview. Have a gander at the introspective start of our next official SI chapter!

So, progress has been regrettably slow. I’m adjusting to new medication, which is kinda messing with my... well, everything. I still think I’ll be able to get this chapter done on time, but we’ll see how we go. Rice got his new laptop charger, too, so he’s back on board with editing duties to help keep my writing laser focused. Or about as close as my writing gets to being focused, anyway...

So, yeah, new meds to help me manage the depression and anxiety. The adjustment period has been pretty brutal so far. It’s only been a few days, but... well, the first day I felt drunk. Like, for twenty-four straight hours I just felt legit shit-faced. I’m not over exaggerating, it wasn’t ‘close’ to drunk, I just felt like I’d been on a bender. I’ve since settled out of that into a frustratingly numb sense of contentment. Like, I’m not up or down, just kinda floating through the middle. Which sucks, because the lows were terrible, sure, but the high points were incredible. Also, I’m hungry. Like, all the time. I just want to eat. Which is really making me antsy to get back into exercising again, because I ate waaaaay too much today. Why am I talking about all of this? Because my life is boring as shit, and this is the only interesting thing that’s happened lately. Plus, ya know, positive steps and all that, I guess. Aside from that, when I haven’t been writing I’ve been watching YouTube videos talking about games and such and painting minis (I am so close to finally finishing my Blackstone Fortress minis...). Not really much going on over here, otherwise.
