Update/Preview 66

I do truly apologise for this, but... Execute Order 66! XD (I’ve been waiting nearly a year to say that!)

*ahem* Good morning all! Have a quick look at the new Blazing Trinity chapter I’m still working on. I spent all weekend on this and SI!Dark. Dark ch10 is done and in editing, should be done today sometime (I’m gonna ride Rice’s ass until it is), and I’ll post it ASAP. Annapocryphal is still in the works. I’m two scenes in and already a third of my planned word count. I may need to split this one up, because I have, like, another six or seven scenes planned. It’s gonna be epic. I still wanna get it done this month or early next month, but I may be splitting up the release. Unless y’all want a 20k word behemoth of a chapter.

So, it was brought up that y’all may not really know my golden rule for myself, so I was ‘encouraged’ by my editor to let you in on it: I swore to myself when I started this Patreon that if I missed two major updates in a row, as in I didn’t post two major, full length chapters for two months, I’d put an immediate freeze on the Patreon and reevaluate what’s going on. We haven’t even come close yet, but there, now y’all know.

I saw the Sonic the Hedgehog movie on the weekend. It was great. It was a kids' movie, yeah, but at least it was fun. It was bursting at the seams with references and easter eggs, and yet unlike Rise of Skywalker it didn't feel forced or ham-fisted. The acting was all fairly top-notch, too (which was my only sticking point with Detective Pikachu), and Ben Schwartz killed it as the blue blur. Straight up, I enjoyed Sonic more than Rise of Skywalker, Avengers Endgame and all the other big budget crap that's come out in the last few years. Was it a perfect movie? No. Was it a fun way to kill 90 minutes? Fuck yeah. And yes I just copy-pasted that from the discord server. Y’ALL CANNOT ESCAPE MY LOVE OF THIS FILM.
