Update/Preview 58

Firstly, I believe I owe you all an apology. Self Insert Dark ch8 was meant to go live yesterday, and for various reasons it wasn’t done, and for that I’m sorry. Between being sick at the start of the month, the burn out from Self Insert Redux ch19, and the bull that’s going on at my work (no management in my department, power vacuum and me desperately trying not to get sucked into it), I just haven’t had the energy. However, it is almost done, and I should have something for you all either today or tomorrow. Have a brief preview of the upcoming chapter, and again I offer my sincere apologies.

As I’m sure you can all tell, December is a mess. I’m still plugging away at SI!Dark, and the Selkie Experiment is planned and awaiting my magic touch. I’m really looking forward to January, where I can just start fresh with Blazing Trinity and a big smile.

So, I’m thinking I might take a break on the Self Insert Supports, too. Now, hear me out. I want to have them running concurrently with my main story; kinda hard to do when I’m not writing it. Also, I’d like to give Xcell a break; poor bastard’s been churning them out non stop for more than a year now. I’ll put up a poll when I get home (because the mobile app won’t let me set up polls for some reason...) to see how y’all feel about it. If I were to take a break on the Supports, I would replace them with something else in the meantime. But that’s neither here nor there at this point, tell me what y’all think and we’ll go from there.

Wow that was kinda serious/depressing so far... So time for fun! I watched my brother spend nearly $300 on liquor and candy yesterday. American candy imports have a ridiculous mark up ($10 for a box of Capn’ Crunch, can you believe that shit!?), and he wanted to ‘stock up’ for the Christmas season. We now have enough booze to get us through to next Christmas lol. Including a limited edition Game of Thrones scotch that I’m super keen to try out. I also finally found a working PS2 emulator. So I can finally play Ar Tonelico and the early Atelier games and all the other awesome JRPGs that never came out in PAL format. Yes, I buy them and make my own disc images (a lot of them are actually really quite cheap). Support the official release!
