Adaptive series of updates
Added 2025-06-27 08:44:55 +0000 UTCIn the next small series of updates 0.7.X, we plan to adapt Nine Lives of Yoki for Android and Linux systems, as well as globally improve the control system to make the game accessible to more travelers.
When adapting the game for mobile devices, we plan to preserve all existing development progress: all game content and all dynamic lighting features, while leaving the option to change graphics settings for weaker devices (as a last resort). We conducted initial tests and determined that the game's weak point is its built-in graphics, while our code was written to be as optimized as possible from the outset and its load is only about 5% at peak times!
So our task is to optimize the graphics while maintaining beautiful visuals.
Update 0.7.9 will be the only update in the “adaptive updates” series. After that, we will start working on a new large series of updates, 0.8.X.
