About game/anime awards categories

For starters, let me say that I had all planned and starting making the polls. I have some character arts that would be for every category announcement. Like, a girl that is not from a 2024 anime which is from the specified category.
But when I wasted already so much time on this I noticed that it wouldn't work well in here. People would vote thinking that I would make sets for the game. So I would have to pick the options thinking about it, otherwise games like Stellar Blade would win everything.
So then I started looking for possible categories that would be more fit for this community. The problem is that for games it's way harder than for anime. I mean, anime can be clean and I can use some categories from other websites and also some other categories based on notes from MyAnimeList. But what about games? It's multiplatform, full of broken lists and bias.
I'm open for ideas, but as a last resource I would either do it anyway as normal and expect that people would vote on what they really think or I would have to reduce the category to basically Best PC/Console game and Best Mobile game.
Ultimately I think that I can't do sets for every winner. Or multiple sets for the same winner of multiple categories. I just thought of doing this for fun, but I realized that in the end, most people would rather see a set done after all this.
Do you know some interesting lists that could help filtering games for this? Also I may need to adjust the lists because there are stuff that I just can't post here.

2024-12-21 04:38:37 +0000 UTCI was going to make only about 2024. The problem is to either go with the usual genre/topics or make something like "best ecchi game" or "best butt" these kind of categories are difficult to curate the nominees.

2024-12-21 02:28:44 +0000 UTCI don't know if it's really helpful, but I guess just try to split it into categories based upon different factors (region/country of company behind the game, year of release, ongoing/single release game, etc.).
