STEPPING OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE
A few days ago, I set up a scene with the intention of animating it. But since then, I've been avoiding it entirely. I haven’t even started, and I already feel overwhelmed, as if I’ve bitten off more than I can chew. Some close friends have been encouraging me to just film some reference footage, give it a shot, and not overthink it. They’re absolutely right. If I don’t push myself to animate a short sequence like this, how will I ever tackle more complex projects?
MODELS
I’ve been hard at work finalizing my Sojourn model and updating the refurbished Zarya model for release. I know many of you have been eagerly awaiting them, and I apologize for the slower pace. Balancing model commissions, pinups, and animations can be challenging. My ultimate goal in 3D is to create five-minute animations with engaging storylines, similar to what creators like Rigid3D, Nyl, and my friends Radroach and Amazonium produce. I really admire their work and aspire to reach that level. I’m still in the learning phase when it comes to animation, so it's a steep learning curve, but I'm committed to mastering it while juggling everything else.
END
This month has been a whirlwind. I’ve been diving into various topics like perspective, figure drawing, composition, and, of course, animation. Progress is slow at the moment, but once I get a grasp on how all these elements come together, things should start to flow more smoothly.
