Here we go almost reaching the final quiz. I must say that some things started to worry me now and I wasn't thinking when I started this quiz. What I usually do in these situations is to do what I think you would prefer instead of what I want to do. Lately I've been thinking of how much I've been pushed, pressed and sabotaged. I usually think that it's only over when I'm dead. I try to think on the positive things rather than the negative things, but every time I push and do more, I feel like a stronger force comes to push me back.
Anyway, here is your answer:
My first Pokémon game was Yellow. So my first Pokémon was Pikachu. Thankfully you can get all 3 starters from Red/Green/Blue later in the game. But I think that the decision at the start is very important. Later I bought the Blue version and started with Squirtle. Then we can go listing all other starters I had, in Silver it was Cyndaquil and so on...
It's very cool that you could use your gameboy Pokémon on Stadium in Nintendo 64 and the Yellow Pikachu was very unique in animations, color and sounds.
Anyway... let's see who won.

2024-02-10 22:17:54 +0000 UTCI honestly thought that at least 1-2 people would guess, because I think that the vibe/taste that I pass seems to be a bit older so first-second generations would be a good educated guess. Then from there it would only depend if people would want to guess a different Pokémon or the same as the others.

2024-02-10 21:28:09 +0000 UTCI knew this one was going to be harder, but since I gave 2 'bonuses' already, I thought it was okay to test and see what people would prefer: If it was to guess with more variety or try to guess because of the raffles. I have my personal attachment to my original character and I think that to see her naked should come with something. I'm not charging extra for it or anything and in fact I'm giving stuff. So it's basically a game against me. People guessed my favorite manga and I didn't give away any hints at the time. I thought that suggesting people to guess different Pokémon would make it even easier this time.

2024-02-10 21:19:59 +0000 UTCWhile I do see how saying what version you started with would have given it away (i.e. saying you started with Yellow); it does show exactly why no one guessed the correct answer. Everyone assumed you started with Yellow's predecessors (Blue and Red) or one of the most recent generation's games. It was kind of hard to guess accurately with so many games over so many years.

The first pokemon game had bulbasaur, charmander and squirtle, but as a easter egg you could obtain pikachu, further down the game and not choosing any default starter. But no novice was able to discover that at first playthrough. At the time game guides were rare and internet was no help. that's why i did not give pikachu and tried one of the default starters
