A Regular Announcement and a Bigger One

By the time this gets posted, I'm going to be traveling. I'm going to be away for a week for Thanksgiving. That's the regular announcement.

After that week, I have some medical stuff to take care of. That's the bigger announcement.

Long story short, I got an MRI scan a couple of weeks ago, and they found something (not cancer, by the way. Just clearing that up). I have an appointment with a specialist coming up. If all goes well, I'll be getting surgery a week or so after the appointment, and everything's fine. Well, he can also tell me he'll do the surgery next month or something, but I hope he doesn't.

I'm going to stress right away that this is NOT me asking for money. I'm well-covered on that front. My family's been super supportive, and this whole thing has caught me at a relatively good time.

I just letting you guys know about this, because, well, partially to vent. Let's be honest there. The other part is that I felt I had to inform you. I'm going to be busy with all this stuff, so I am unlikely to reply to comments during that time or even log in

I've left four updates and two writing blog posts scheduled. That means you all have chapters until the 16th. This should hopefully not affect you in the least. I should be back and writing by then. I seriously doubt we'll hit the next goal while I'm gone, but if we do, I'll take care of it the moment I return. Again, I'm not asking for money, and I don't want you to think that I am.
