Silverlight became one of my favorite songs after I saw the Towards the Light tour. It started with Wooyoung’s solo dance. It then moved into Silverlight, with them all walking into the light and then off stage. It’s a shame the up close videos like this don’t show the whole picture that way, because watching them walk up the steps like they are walking up a stairway to heaven as an effect is stunning.

No one group is the sum of their title tracks. ATEEZ has been anthemic and grandiose from the jump. But it's once you sink into the rest of an album's tracks that you get the multifaceted foundation that allows them to lead with the tracks they do. Even as a fandom, or any fandom, sometimes we feel so strongly about b-sides that we wish they were the main release. But as good and strong as many b-sides are? I prefer them to be the hidden gems that leave us surprised when we settle down to digest the entirety of a release. Interwoven through each of their releases is a song of hope amidst despair, or a song acknowledging that they, too, know what it's like to stare into the darkness, unable to move. They're always leaving space for atiny, and themselves by proxy, to acknowledge these things, but not linger on them for longer than necessary.
