2025-07-09 16:22:05 +0000 UTCI like watching this show because of the members, seeing how they created their Mixtape pre-debute album and the bonds they made... but it was a complete publicity stunt by JYP ... the fact that they released the MV before even the show had aired and what happens at the end .. it is a set-up ... I don't think he ever truely intended to drop any of the members ... BUT I am sure that Stray Kids themselves had no idea ... it always feels to me like JYP needed to make this dramatic for Mnet because it couldn't fit the normal format with them already being a group, so instead created this competition against JYP himself... it is kinda of genius in an evil way ...because we became very very invested from the start at seeing them stay together, and we saw just how close and precious they were ... BUT I still don't think messing with the emotions of teenages and young men is right... at least they succeeded in the end and can do what they love with each other. Changbin and Hyunjin both joined JYP as trainees around the same time and became friends through that... I love how genuine they are and seeing them grow but stay the same deep down... Also the Korean age thingy always gets me ... I know it is only 1 year but I have to remind myself to age them all down a year ... they are all so baby

My theory is that 3racha was guaranteed to be part of the group and that Han and Changbin each got to pick one buddy to go with them (i.e. Lee Know and Hyunjin) and Bang Chan wanted I.N. and Felix and they rounded out with the singers (Seungmin and Woojin)

2025-06-02 21:21:57 +0000 UTCFor all the drama of other episodes, I think this section is my favourite. I love how considerate they are of each other, and give compliments. Han and Changbin are keen to prop up fragile egos, and go out of their way to train and showcase the others. And we already saw how unbelievably supportive they were when JYP asked Lee Know to rap out of the blue. It’s beautiful. (Also showing the skill involved in rapping). But you’re right. Why doesn’t it seem to occur to anyone to lower the key? It’s a simple resolution to the problem. Bang Chan is enough of a musician to do it.
