I have for a long time said S4 is my favorite followed closely by S1 but I guess I had forgotten how good this season was. Almost every episode is gold.

2025-10-03 18:31:35 +0000 UTCDamn forgot how good this episode actually was, I think this one doesn't get spoken about nothing when talking about episodes that GRRM wrote. Kit Harington, bless him, puts in a great performance here, he looks uncomfortable for most of the first two seasons but he really picks up in this season. Rose leslie is probably why though, she is just so fun. Jaime in the bear pit as well is just so wonderful, he didn't have to save her. You can tell that he genuinely wants Brienne to understand him; she reminds of the boy he used to be, someone who believed in honour and and nobility before he let himself become the 'kingslayer'. That idealism is clearly still in Jaime though, lets see if he can follow through on his oath.

Nothing wrong with it btw lol just so different from other reactors where it's all about entertainment.
