"Fans" made petitions to kick him out since they thought he was too ugly to be in the group. Don't tell me you were surprised when he left. Even when he was in the band he got so much hate and now that he has been gone for a while he still gets death threats and hate. Not only that but us fans get death threats as well. It is not a "slight controversy", the guy simply got so much hate that he thought it was better for him to leave so it wouldn't affect the groups success. If you don't have anything nice to say about him don't say anything at all and keep his name out of your mouth.

He cried because Stray Kids overcame so many hurdles along their way and he was scared that us Stays would leave when we saw their struggles. So stop making up baseless rumours just so you can have a reason to hate on Woojin.

I remember even before he left so called "Stays" made petitions to get him to leave because they thought he was too ugly for the group. So don't tell me you were surprised when he left. I talked to him for a bit when he was on tour in Germany. You don't know how much he suffered. He said he was this close to giving up on living. The rumours that started AFTER he left destroyed him and the sueing process was super tough for him. However he made it out and is successful in his own way and has his fans. Us fans are one of the nicest fandoms out there because we know how much he has been through yet there are still "Stays" sending death threats to him AND to us just because they are bitter and hate on him for no reason. It hurts to see it. So Ben: Please do not believe any baseless rumours about him and actually do your own research if you are interested, because you will then find out that my boy is absolutely innocent. I will support and defend Woo wherever I can.

The reason that comeback was pushed back by MONTHS to redo everything from all the songs to choreography... Such a stressful time for them ... And at this point the fandom was small and Hyunjin CRIED and BEGGED stay to not leave too ..... 😭😭😭😭.

Woojin left after Side Effects era (Yellow Wood EP), just less than a month before the next release of the Levanter. They had to postpone the release and had to reshoot And redo the recording of the album. After that they also recorded almost all of their released songs again as 8 members, you'll find them in the compilation albums SKZ 2020 and SKZ 2021.

And yes they had to re record their album, redistribute lines and change choreo in a short amount of time before the release. When they performed it at the SKZ 5’O’Clock fan meeting they were all very emotional. It brings up a lot of memories for them i think.
