I'm very confused on why you think Rhaegar having a wife and kids could be a plothole? It doesn't contradict anything that's been said about him, being married doesn't make it impossible for someone to do horrible to things to their spouse and other people. Is it weird yes, but it doesn't at all cause any inconsistently with the story

2025-09-03 19:14:39 +0000 UTCThe books are great but I highly doubt they will ever be finished. Book one came out in 1996, book 2 in 1998, and book 3 came out in 2000. Book 4 came out in 2005 and book 5 came out in 2011 but book 4 and 5 were originally one book. A lot of book 5's material was written prior to 2005. So its been 20 years now since he has written a full novel for the series and nearly 30 years since he began writing them. George has many other things on his plate besides writing the last 2 books and he is already 76 years old. If you read them I'd love to hear your thoughts as you do because the books are as usual much more in depth than the show. But just know that its unlikely they will be finished. And yeah these vids throw a crap ton of info at you. I think you got most of it and I'm sure you got more in editing.
