I'm not saying Randall was a good guy but I won't judge him that harshly for merely being with those bad people. He's a kid still, and in this world being alone seriously drops your chances of survival. Was he supposed to stop a group of guys all by himself? Maybe he should have left them after that but I understand him not doing so because he was too scared to go out on his own.
