Twilight 🌃 / Mountains ⛰️ (changes depending on mood) I love all tracks though. Have the remixes of CCB on repeat too. Han hits different and I love that they have a song written by Han that is a totally different jazzy vibe to the rest of the album. I would've missed melodic skz if they hadn't had a song like this on the album. His lyrics are so deep and meaningful 💖

(I mean this as a huge compliment, btw, but also in a 'only the Aussies would add 'taking L's' and 'getting W's' as lyrics lmao). Twilight is written by Han and you can ALSO definitely tell. He's insanely talented- it's not just the rapping, singing, dancing and stage presence. It's not just the producing and composing. It's the LYRICISIM. He's such a good lyricist. He's able to portray yearning, and grief, and other strong emotions so fluently and palpably. That's why he's an ace. He actually excels at everything he does as an artist. It's wild.

Han actually said he’d prefer if people don’t overthink the meaning of his song and just enjoy it, so I think you’re on the right track. But if I had to chose, “I like it” is my number one, don’t know how long I left on repeat 😂 “Runners”, it’s all in English I can sing! 😂 besides I really like the Lyrics.. and last.. it’s hard this one because Chk Chk Boom is addicting, but I listened so many times that im trying to give the other songs more time kkkkk so probably JJAM.. if I’m more quiet, relaxed I would say twilight or Stray Kids

JJAM there is so much going on in JJAM, istg, how do you squeeze so many substantial parts in like about three minutes?? we have some dubstep, drum&bass, obviously vocals and rap, OH ALSO!! all the rachas (3racha, vocalracha, danceracha) have their own jams within the song, like they are sectioned in parts in a way?? And also the guys said in an interview that they wanted JJAM to be their title track cause it encapsulated pure SKZ flavor but the company picked Chk Chk Boom instead, so they packed ALL their SKZness into JJAM. Also, I can't wait for the dance break as well. I was also excited to see the references to their other songs in the lyrics, like "Get Lit" (from Oddinary album) or 'finger lickin'' (from "Super Bowl" in 5-STAR) to just name these. There is also a "Family Guy" reference with the part 'peanut butter jelly time' And since I'm a linguist and a language freak lol, word play really fires me up haha. There is this part in chorus "찍어 발라 버려" (jjikeo balla beoryeo" and it means in hiphop something akin to "I'mma fuck you up"/"I'mma wipe you out" OR literally to spread something like jam on a toast. Another little detail: if you learn Korean, you might already know, but "잼" (jaem) in slang means "fun", so "no fun" would be "노잼" (no jaem). In one verse Seungmin sings "오늘의 topic, 걍 잼있게 놀기" and he uses "잼있게" instead of the correct form of an adverb which would be "재미있게". I'm going crazy seeing shit like this, oh my god Oh and for the chorus, I truly truly only thought about jam and how SKZ say their music is so addictive that it sticks like jam, but some brain rotten individual said that "Sticking together day and night, yeah/Filling up jars, oh, every time/So just spread it out (Right now)/찍어 발라 버려, jam/Sticky, sticky, sticky jam" is not about jam ;-; 2. Chk Chk Boom (but idk which version I like better) It's such a banger, I love how in the chorus there is so much rhotic R pronounced, it's so fitting for the music genre mix they're doing with CCB, and I also learned like five seconds ago that Changbin wrote Han's #cliche part and Han wrote Changbin's #neilarmstrong part. OH CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS WORD PLAY CAUSE--- "kneel, I'm strong" part in Changbin's sounds exactly like "Neil Armstrong" and in the MV there is this shot with Changbin on the moon, like in the picture, NEIL ARMSTRONG Y'ALL. Which brings us to "Hall of Fame" from 5-STAR album, another reference! And I would also say there's a reference to "WOLFGANG" from NOEASY album with the part in chorus "Lobos, we cannot stop hunting", since 'lobos' in Spanish means 'wolves'. I also love how we can hear a different color of Changbin's voice in the first rap (the Neil Armstrong part), a little tight and maybe lazy ?? Idk I'm missing a word to describe the specific vibe, a bit whiny but that's still not that 3. Runners Again I love word play, but I'm gonna make it short, cause I've been yapping in this comment for so long already lol. First of all. the "zoom-zoom-zoom" thingie during Felix's part IS SO COOL, but right after there is this Changbin's part: "They say I took an L for challenging myself/But I don't give a hell, I know that I can tell that they are jelly-jelly". He took an L (loss), so our focus is brought to L > chaLLenging myself > I don't give a heLL > they are jeLLY-jeLLy (jealous) to me this is basically so genius, peak lyricism, also there arent THAT many words in English that feature double-L, and the fact that Changbin ridiculed his haters in literally two lines is to me chef's kiss mic drop shit, absolutely amazing

Chk Chk Boom All that to say, it'll probably change tomorrow! This album is amazing. This is my 3rd SKZ comeback and I genuinely think this is album of the year material. Chk Chk Boom is one of the most ear worm titles of theirs yet for me. I'm pretty sure it goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway, I fucking love all their music. But ATE it's special bros. Real special. I think we have stepped into a new ERA of Stray Kids. Can anyone else feel what I mean? And I'm so damn proud of them and excited to see where we are headed!

There aren't THAT many English words with double-L I CAN'T EXPLAIN IT ALL THAT WELL, BUT CAN YOU SEE THE PICTURE HERE ?
