2024-06-16 22:07:40 +0000 UTCBen- your appreciation will grow gigantically when you consider: All the guys at one point had Covid but look at the timing......JK traveled to Las Vegas first, solo because he had to practice coming down from the ceiling etc . 5 of the other guys were scheduled to leave later EXCEPT Hobi - who had just become infected with Covid so....you have a performance coming up -including the very tricky part with those jackets that they were having difficulty performing. Then...then...word comes that JK tested positive for Covid..he's sequestered in his room, can not leave. Hobi remains in Seoul recovering while the other 5 travel to Vegas hoping beyond hope that a miracle will happen. They arrive, JK can not leave his room, still positive so no rehearsing. Then ..earlier at some point Jin becomes injured, had to have surgery and doctors warned him not to dance because if he bumped into one of the other guys , he might re-injure his hand/fingers and surgery would have to be repeated. Hobi is cleared and arrives in Las Vegas but JK still positive. On the DAY OF THE GRAMMY's JK finally negative but...choreography had to be redone with 6 instead of 7 guys with Jin off to the side. They only have a few hours before the Grammy's and yet LOOK at what they did even with all these problems, they looked, they sounded spectacular and brought the house done. And then.......they don't win. WTF?
