However, it just doesn't feel have that SKZ feeling (it's always there even when exploring other genres) and there was no substance to the lyrics. It just felt like any other American pop love song. All of their songs always have SOMETHING to the lyrics, even their love songs. The song felt very typical. The mv was simply gorgeous and their vocals were great, but yeah. I also wish that Charlie Puth didn't sing like half the song himself when HE'S the feature, not SKZ. Plus he hasn't done anything to promote LMB and it shows just how little he cares. 😕

2024-05-11 15:13:20 +0000 UTCboycotting means not being complicit for a start. it means not abandoning your personal morals. it means showing jyp and stray kids that we won’t accept them working with these people. that we hope they don’t feel the same way as him. it means not having a person like that receive more publicity and relevance off the back of a song he can’t even be bothered to talk about, while he milks skz and stays for a quick, easy buck. it’s not about thinking it’s going to stop war, it’s about being a decent human being and holding skz responsible for who they choose to work with given the platform and influence they have.

Personally, I don’t want them to become successful by catering to a western audience if they lose everything they’ve ever stood for and are put onto lists of celebrities to boycott or work with companies and men that think killing innocent people and sa is okay, but hey… that’s just me.

And when I looked at the credits I noticed that while 3Racha did help in writing the song they, and most importantly Bang Chan, had nothing to do with its production. And I think it needed that. I know they wanted to show a new color and appeal to western pop, but they left out all of the K-Pop.
