so in there trainee years chan met han first (out of the stray kids) and that's why he's called chan's first kid lol, and then when changbin joined the company they formed a little hiphop trio called 3RACHA and were uploading song on soundcloud and doing underground hiphop performances, mind you this is all before stray kids was formed, long story short the other kids joined and then they debuted as stray kids, and then because of 3RACHA their dance and vocal units are now also called DANCERACHA (lee know, hyunjin, felix) and VOCALRACHA (seungmin, I.N)

HERE IS THE FULL EXPLANATION FOR THE RACHA: 3racha was formed in 2016, sometime after Changbin recently joined JYP. They called themselves 3racha because of Sriracha and as you probably know, 3racha pronounced with a Korean accent would sound like the brand (and ofc bc there's 3 of them). And as Chan said, "We wanted to be hot". They started playing around with music and songs, many times creating a few songs and releasing them and then requesting for people to give them a listen and give them feedback on what they liked, and what to improve. They did release albums and even some songs that were taken down can be found reuploaded by fans. The Rachas, the Dance and Vocal, we're called that by fans first. Since we had 3racha, and the other "lines" didn't overlap, Racha seemed like a fun and unique thing to call them instead. In older videos they are called Danceline and Vocalline like other kpop groups. Then the staff and skz noticed that stay was using "racha" instead and followed. I highly recommend listening to 3racha songs bc they're so much fun and rap heavy (more rapper Chan!) And just a look into the projects they worked on in their early days when they were trying to find their groove. Some they made into Skz songs like "Hoodie Season" and the Mixtapes (later renamed to the 3racha name after the rerecording of them) Thanks for reading this novel 😂

3racha are actually the ones that started the whole racha thing. they formed pre debut and actually have a lot of songs that they used to release on soundcloud, which are still available. They have released some of their songs on youtube as well. they are the main producers, writers and composers for stray kids as well. They even won an award not to long ago for best producers I believe.

The only official 'racha' is 3Racha, which was formed before they debuted. The other 'rachas' were what the kids decided to name themselves, as sub units. Danceracha and VocalRacha. The additional 'rachas' are fan made. We just throw racha on the end of a word lol. 3Racha has been their own thing and released music on soundcloud predebut. And you'll find 3Racha doing things separately sometimes, like with collabs. I think of it as 3Racha being a group within Stray Kids while DanceRach and VocalRacha and subunits within Stray Kids.
