Things to Come . . .

Near the end of last year, I sort of dropped out of the online world entirely. I had a lot of plans and projects, but then God laughed at them, and after my daughter was born I scrapped them all.

For a while I wasn't doing anything except trying to get through each day with a baby and a toddler. Then, because I am a hopeless fool, I started working on a screenplay based on about a dozen Borges stories, called The Book of Sand. But while in the middle of that, I happened on an idea that I thought would make a great short Forest of Symbols episode, one that I could write and record in a month or two (the plan was to make it available on Halloween, which gives you a hint about the content).

But, as is typical with FoS, I started pulling a thread that wouldn't quit unraveling, and I decided I had another two-part, multi-hour volume on my hands. The first part should be out in January 2026, and part two maybe late Winter early Spring. I have several other episodes I'm working on at the same time, one of which should be up by the end of the month. (I should have something new every month.)

So it's safe to say I'm back. I suppose I will also continue the series on Vico, but I want to get through the slate of episodes I have notes on first. Oh, and I've planned some podcast guest appearances, so stay tuned for those as well.
