Game updates, sneak peeks, road bumps!

Hey guys! I wanted to get you all a little update on how development is going!
Things are really starting to shape up! I've been conquering the sprite work ~10 weight levels at a time for each character. It really helps to make sure each level is a solid progression and keep them all in similar look! A slew of different emotes is being drawn, matched up, and modified across each sprite level. Sketches turning into line work, coloring underway!! It's a noble-fat-girl-sprite factory in here! ๐
Also, I'm hard at work on the script. I think you all will really enjoy the scale of the story as well as the variety I'm plotting. Really getting to flex my story writing skills ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ
I have run into a small road bump---๐ฑ our background artist has been unable to continue work for a while now. I have ~5 more backgrounds [at-least!] in mind I want to have completed in time for the demo's release. Unfortunately, I have had to start searching for a new background artist, either as a second for the team or as a replacement. Time will tell if the original artist is able to resume work. ๐ I am trialing a few artists now to fill the role, looking for equal or even better quality and a good style to match what we already have! Don't you worry, there is no concern-- just a little stress for Yummy ๐
