Poll: 4K Games as Lit. 101

As I've mentioned in the past, I recently had to get new equipment: namely, a new camera and mic. So say goodbye to those pesky dots (though hopefully you haven't been noticing them because I've been painstakingly working to cover them up for the last many videos).
This new camera can film in 4K! Which begs the question: is there any interest in 4K videos for Games as Lit. 101? If I began filming in that ultra-high resolution, I would also search for 4K game footage where applicable, so that would be cool. But also, I'm not sure my kind of content would really benefit much from 4K (since it's mostly just my face, and many of the games I'll talk about are unlikely to present in that resolution anyway), and I've yet to see how well my computer can handle editing it.
So, I'm taking it to my patrons. Do you think I should try moving up to 4K, or is that just not something you're interested in?

Agreed with the other comments here; definitely fine to do but mostly as futureproofing and/or if the added value is worth whatever extra cost there is to you in terms of editing time/hard drive space. I personally don't really mind either way. Put the Naw option in the survey to reflect this but consider it more as a "not desiring" than a "don't want" :)
2022-07-11 22:08:36 +0000 UTCAs one of the few weirdos who actually watches YouTube on my desktop's monitor at 2K resolution, it does make a noticeable difference. Also, it's never bad to future-proof your content. With upscaling options in emulators becoming more and more common too, I think it's certainly worth considering.
