Added 2025-01-09 01:14:59 +0000 UTCHey everybody. A fire evacuation went through overnight, and right now I'm just hoping for the best. I've been without power for about 24 hours and haven't had access to my computer in that time.
There's not much else I can do right now other than keep you guys posted. Things are chaotic here, so any good vibes are appreciated. Hopefully the firefighters are able to make progress. My family is safe.
Thank you again for everything! I'd like to get drawing again asap!
Update 1: Power is back for now. Thank you so much for all the encouraging words! It's been a scary, stressful day and I can't tell you how much it means to me!
Update 2: Power has remained for today, but evacuations are still in place. The fire has slowed down, so hoping for the best!
Update 3: Power is stable still, but there's an internet outage affecting the area today. The evacuation is still in effect, but some places are letting people back. Hoping everything will be okay.
Update 4: Internet service returned last night. Looks like the fire has started to be contained!
Update 5: Wind has picked back up but the fire hasn't advanced in my direction. The evacuation I was under has since been lifted as well. A huge relief after a stressful week.
