America's foreign Entanglement

Why are the United States engaged in military conflicts and alliances around the world? In this brief overview, I attempt to show which historic developments took it to where it is now. Why an American retreat from the global stage might not be as good as some believe. And will try to explain the difference between freedom of action and entanglement.

Comments

I understand that you were trying to avoid criticism, but I would be interested in a brief video or comment explaining where and when there have been successful foreign interventions, possibly commenting on why they go wrong or right. You tacitly approved of intervention in the Bosnian and Pakistan genocides, but would be interested in a more in-depth commentary on that aspect.

nefarious

Good in general, but overly positive view of us foreign policy. And Iraq, we were never going to give them real democracy because we were too committed to cramming neoliberalism down their throats
