Elena: Angel of Vengeance

Your walk through the sterile city streets to your favorite lunch spot was interrupted by a large shadow cast overhead. As you looked up to see what was the source of the shadow, you can just barely make out a blurred form of black and white hurtling down like a meteor. You blink and the next moment the blur is gone and there before you stands a beautiful woman with golden eyes that seem to glow. Next you notice the black and white you saw were here brilliantly white wings and black leather pants and corset.
She addresses you, breaking the silence, "Hello. I am Elena, an angel sent to deal with an outbreak of demons in this city."
"D... D... Demons?" you stutter.
"Yes, have you seen anything strange going on?" she asks.
You reply comes a bit more steady, "No... I'm pretty sure I'd remember if I saw a demon."
"If you see any demons... leave," she warns you.
As Elena’s wings faded into nothingness, you couldn’t help but chuckle to yourself at how funny it was for such a being with such striking features to try and blend in. After all, her golden eyes alone would be enough to draw attention no matter where she went. But then again, maybe that was part of her plan—to stand out and intimidate anyone who might get too close.
She walked away, leaving you to wonder what else is real that you thought was just myths and legends.
