[Teen Wolf : A Chimera Rising—Chapter 74]

“ Allison.” Markus, still having his identity concealed muttered— deciding to handle her first.
“ Y-yes?”
“ How much do you value your father's life?” A simple question that had the girl frozen, her eyes darting to her father who's lifeforce was quickly depleting with each minute.
“ Y-you ca-n save h-him?” Allison asked, more a deduction only where the obsidian masked man was going with his words.
“ I can.” Markus masked agreed, his voice gripping with amusement.
Immediately Allison knew that where the conversation would go, her mind going back to lessons she had with her father of the fact that nothing came for free in this world.
But at her bare mind made her mind cloudy clutching her body to what integrity she had left.
“ W-what do you want?” She asked, trying by all means to show a strong front even as she quivered from the cold in her nude state and from the minor injuries she had gotten.
“ What do I want?” Markus asked, more to himself than her.
He thought of using one of his Eagis Contract Scrolls on her, a quick view of her status had him grinning under his mask.

Allison had one hell of a status.
Three titles, a good stat distribution and two freaking abilities.
Using [Aura Decryption] into the [Awakened] trait allowed him to know for a fact that awakened humans could only obtain one ability.
Even though the second ability was locked using [Aura Decryption] allowed him to know that the ability was linked to her [Reincarnation] title.
Digging deeper into her abilities he had to give it to her, she had potential—though it was wasted from what he could see through his [Aura Analysis] and [Aura Decryption] skills.
[Wind's Incarnation] allowed absolute and total control and manipulation of air and wind, which she has only been using for party tricks to improve her marksmanship.
If she actually knew how capable she could be with her ability she'd be one of the greatest hunters.
And in the case that she ever unlocked the [Bane Of Monsters] ability then she'd be the way more than that.
The ability from what he could infer, and that was a lot was tied with her previous life.
One where she had been the first hunter of the Argent Bloodline.
Her blood held more power than most would think.
And the [Bane Of Monsters] ability, he wanted it.
For its fatality and most of all to never have it be used against him.
So with a grin he pulled out one of the Eagis Scrolls, watched as it burst into being infront of him in a sickly blood red flame.
“ W-what i-is th-that?” Scott asked, panting in pain and looking confused and fearful of the scroll that looked to be made from human skin.
“ This? This is a contract, and you Allison are going to sign it with your blood.” Markus told them, his eyes staring at Allison with a sick cruel face under his mask.
“ A-alli-son!” Chris Argent spoke up, speaking for the first time even as his body slowly deteriorated.
“ Shut up, you're only burning up the last of your lifeforce.” Markus spoke up, a bit annoyed at the man.
“ And you, where the fuck do you think you're going?” Markus spoke up again, turning to Peter who while he was talking had been slowly trying to retreat.
Seeing that his plan to escape was seen through Peter tried to run.
“ Earth Magic: Gaia's Embrace” Markus chanted, holding his hand out to the armless beast even when he needn't.
“ W-what?!” Peter shouted, his surprise being mirrored by all those watching him as the soil beneath him slithered like a serpent around his legs and torso before solidifying into stone.
“ No! L-let me go!” Peter's guttural shout echoed through the forest.
“ You're too loud.” Markus sneered, flicking his hand causing the stone to expand, covering the werewolfs mouth, muffling his screams.
“ Better.” Markus beamed, turning back to the shocked expressions of his observers.
“ Wh-what are you?” Derek muttered, staring intently at him even as blood trickled down his mouth.
“ Me? You can call me Doctor Warlock.” Markus told him, grinning under his mask as his plan slowly started budding.
“ Now Allison, be a dear and sign this.” Markus told her, excited as he stared at the scroll that immediately floated up to the girl on its own.
This was as much of a test for the scrolls power and limitations as much as it was real.
He had already deduced that the contractor could ask for more than one thing in a single contract, something that he had been worried about.
But now he had deduced that he could input multiple
The next thing he should now find out was whether he could have multiple people sign a single contract.
He had tried using his deductive skills on the Eagis Scrolls to immediately know it's limitations, only to realise that all his System granted items couldn't deduced in that way—atleast his Tome Of Blessings allowed him to instantly read and comprehend the knowledge inside it enough to create a few experimental spells before he got here.
“ What–what does this say?” Allison asked in confusion, staring at the floating scroll infront of her.
Of course she couldn't read it, the language on it was archaic and unknown even to Markus.
Mostly because the texts seemed to shift and change every second, translating the text would be difficult if not impossible for him at the moment.
But that didn't matter much to him as the System translated the text for him, but he still wanted to crack the language due to how much power and history the language seemed to hold.
After all, his skill [Magus Script] made it so that any language he knew that he made runic scripts out of would gain bolstered power depending on how old and rich in history the language used is.
“ Does that matter? Simply sign that and I'll heal your father, I'll even heal your boyfriend there as a bonus.” Markus told her, sweetening his words as he felt the scroll add a new condition their contract automatically since the contract had already been invoked.
“ All-allison...” Scott wimpered, looking between Markus and Allison with a sort of renewed hope for his survival.
Markus almost scoffed at the pathetic display his brother showed.
Allison seeing the begging look from Scott and her father's fading pants was conflicted.
She wanted to agree immediately, her father's life was in danger after all but what held her from doing so was the unknown.
She didn't know what she would be agreeing to by signing the contract, and seeing as it mystical elements she knew that the minute she did sign, there would be no coming back from it.
The man infront of her while having saved her from a fate worse than death was still unknown, her training as a hunter told her to immediately refuse—anything that had to do with a Warlock wasn't to be touched.
This Doctor Warlock was an unknown, and he was dangerous but he also held the cards in this encounter.
Markus watched her indecision with a smile, knowing fully well how this encounter would go.
His presence here had already achieved what he came here for, his debut as an alter ego from his Markus identity.
It was what would serve as his gateway back into Beacon Hills without too much trouble and would serve as the reason and excuse for his newfound power.
“ F-fine.” Allison finally muttered, dabbing her thumb to an open wound on her naked body before hovering that same thumb on the signing line.
Markus grinned, watching as she pressed it on the scroll.
And immediately the deal was done, magic exploding from the contract as it slithered between him and Allison.
Now all he had to do was heal her father and Scott and he'd have what was agreed upon on the contract.
And as for what that was?—Markus quickly took back the scroll and read through his contract.

There will be a mass release on New year's Eve yes, and for increasing the chapter release, I can't promise anything at the moment due to various factors but I'll see what I can do. Next update in an hour by the way.
