iOS Patreon App - Payment Nonsense

Apple have decided to remove all other payment methods other than their own from the iOS app.
This is a recent change and only affects new members.
What this means is Apple want a 30% take of the membership fee. For doing basically nothing. Which Patreon are putting back onto the price you pay.
So if the price looks high - basic membership should be $11 - you might be caught up by this.
We'd suggest simply not using the iOS app if you're a new member.
We appreciate this is a pain in the ass and apologise. It's wildly out of our control.
Again, if you don't use the iOS app, or you do but have been a member since 2024 then ignore this, it's not affecting most people

Someone else subbed this way in the last few hours. Won't name names. It's costing you money and us subs but for now we'll just try and keep this post near the top of the feed.
