I love the idea of a beautiful Princess sneaking away to become a musclebound, wild (and even sexier) barbarian. So she'll probably be back in a comic one day.

There was a kids cartoon like this in the 60s called "Mightor" but unfortunately it was a boy in the tribe, not the lovely princess.
