Update: BambuLab TPU for AMS

Summary table update:
- BambuLab TPU for AMS (it is on the second sheet). Video will be public on Sunday (since for today I have one AddNorth video).
- New column is added. I got several request to add bending modulus calculation to it. It is calculated for 1.25 kg load, deformation after 30 seconds. It should be in elasticity zone here in most cases (and I don't have a smaller load for calculation).
- Early access to the TPU for AMS video: https://youtu.be/wSajzYEede0

I "third" this request :) I'm interested in a comparison video of the popular PLA+/Pros, like Polymaker PLA Pro, Duramic PLA Plus.. etc

Daniel

what team/bots do you work on? curious if I know them

Ryan Taur

I second this request. We just bought six spools for our combat robots. I would love to see how Duramic PLA+ compares to Polymax PLA on an Izod test.

Hello! I compete in combat robotics at my college and we use a lot of printed components in our robots. I love referencing your data when picking new filaments to test, especially the impact testing. One filament that we use extensively is "Duramic Pla Plus" due to its high toughness. We like to think that it is the best but I would love to see how it actually compares when tested.

Seems like you've got a lot in your hands, keep up the awesome work! :D

Looking forward to watching it. For one of your next videos I would be really interested to see a test of the most durable and heat resistant non-abrasive filaments. I have used some PA6-GF and CF filaments, but I believe they are overkill for my purpose (for my desiccant pods to be dried in the oven at 120-130 C https://makerworld.com/models/717271). For health and safety I think it is generally (not always) better to avoid especially CF and using a non-abrasive filament will also be more accessible for most and nor wear our the tubes so fast etc. Would be really interested in this and I find it strange that Bambu Lab does not sell any non-abrasive PA6 or PPA without CF and GF.

i150, i180 and i190. Beside regular testing, I want to prepare some experiment, to see is it really good for sliding bearing too. (bocsi, angolul többen értik meg)

Hy witch filament will be from the IGUS? / Szia melyik filamentek lesznek az igusztól? Olvastam tőlük valami "csapágy anyagnak " való ami bírja a tartós surlódást... a válasz elég angolul.
