The Hunny Pot -- Story Time

Long time, no see. This month has been the longest and most time consuming month for us all. But when am I ever not behind -- so I'm going to do a large Art and Info dump since I have found really any time to do all that I wanted for this project. Nevertheless as the year ends I want to thank you all for another year of creative and possibilities. May the new year brings more love, creativity, friends/support/family and abundance not all the things we want but need as we gear up for so much .

Also note-- Most art and characters aren't started on and so I'm doing my best to puzzle some visuals together. So bare with me.

The Hunny Pot (Winnie)

We're currently taking a look into the concept art and the life of Winnifred ( winnie). We meet her as she's coming to the end of her first year of opening her bakery and cafe, Hunny Pot.Winnie is a 20 year old Farmers Daughter that, had a dream of opening a bakery inspired by her grandma's recipes and the stories about the towns Legendary Honey Bear, Pooh. Winnie and her grandma use to spend most of their time making Moonpies, traditions pan-asian recipes and desserts. When Winnie isn't backing with her grandmother she's helping her parents on the farm, flying and the crop plane and herding the animals. Winnie loved learning about the native plants, animals , food and flying. At some point in Winnies life she though she may wanted to be a traveling veterinarian since she's been flying planes at the age of 8 and assisting with the births of the some of the farm animals. However, she could never resist her grandmothers desserts and the effects it had on the towns people.

Winnie's grandmother Mei was an award winning baker in the town and there wasn't a soul that didn't love her sweets. The town people felt really connected to her baked goods because Mei would use the honey that she harvest and whatever the community had to make them. Winnie's family are very eco friendly and working with their community.

The team

Winnie(Winifred), Tigean, Lee (Levi) and Evanlynn are Young adults entering their Sophomore year of college. We follow them as they navigate and discover what is means for them to be an adult, to date, explore and take on their daily challenges. All (4) friends have been childhood friends and share a lot in common as they grew together. Despite over time each friend discovering new interest and making new friends-- the gang would maintain such a strong bond. They've learn overtime how to help support one another and thus Hunny Pot was created.

Tigean

Tigean is our athletic member within the gang. She loves volleyball, Gymnastics and softball -- to combat and calm her very rumbustious and active personality, She has discovered her love for pottery. This newfound love she has swept off her feet and would further encourage her to pursuit studying the fine arts. When she's not in school Tigean usually makes time to help and play on the communities softball teams. This year Tigean learns the art of juggling, as she attempts to help at the Hunny Pot with friends, her studies and maintain active with her Softball team.

 Levi

Levi (Lee) is the runt in the group-- typically shy, timid and reserved. It was very common for other people to struggle when getting to know him. Typically he was known around as the kind but, Introverted young man amongst his class and the town. Now around his friends, Lee blossomed but, nevertheless he was still very much a spectator to all the fun. Levi is a very observant person and he takes in the world a bit more differently than most. However, Lee would find most of his courage and determination by being helpful. So it was a shocking discovery to many and even his friends when he would pursuit the path of being a doctor. Lee's time is split between the strenuous schedule of a premed student and Volunteering at the Hunny Pot as a barista.

Evanlynn-- Now I her image is under construction but character can be seen in with everyone else chibi versions of themselves and this sketch:

Evanlynn -- Though also shy like Levi, she more known for being the self Conscious one in the Gang. She struggles a bit with finding her voice and tends to come off a bit more nonchalant and guards compared to the others. Evanlynn finds her comfort working along side of winnie at her family's farm and her family's restaurant. Since Winnie's family farm is 1 out of 3 Farms that supplies the produce to the town within a 20 mile radius, Evanlynn and Winnie typically is seen with each other the most. She love being the kitchen and find herself being more confident when shes creating and developing recipes. So it was no shock that she would take on the furthering her studies in the culinary world. Evanlyyn Practices and helps create recipes att he hunny Pot while doing her studies.
