" I think 2025 is about transitioning even when you don't want to! "

Im working on a few post tonight, but I wanted to discuss a few things:

With the huge possibility of Tariffs becoming an issue for not only myself but, other smaller creators-- I've been spending a lot of time ( more than I should have and I apologize for the lack of post this month ) thinking over about what exactly is my next plan are for our future on patreon and our mini community. I currently have a few Manufactures within the United states but, that doesn't Guarantee that any of their suppliers won't experience the effects of the future tariff policies. Resulting in the rise of US manufactures prices also seeing an increase, which means I'm paying more overall ( especially since the current meeting with canada hasn't gone smoothly-- they are a large portion of the Americas paper industry ).

Let's Brainstorm -- I want to bring you all inside my thought process.

Now to be clear, all of these suggestions may just become our next plan of action- so I wanted to make sure that I'm as details as possible and that I'm being as clear as I can. But so far, the only things I have came up with as a solution is:

• Take a break from my patreon Account anytime after Jan. ( Possibly starting March or Jun)

  • This will allow us time to really see what we'll be going up against as a nation while these new policies roll into effect ( price wise * I refuse to raise the prices bc you all deserve fun, cute affordable luxuries + we will be seeing the heavier effects on this recession once the policies will roll in so i understand if sticker aren't enough to stay )

  • testing out new companies and cutting back on the rewards -- it's not what I want but, I'm still able to give you all something.

  • This break will give me time to strategizes my current climate and breath

• if you got it like that tier-- tiers $30 and up

  • Raising the highest tier and doing Stickers, and prints for only that tier ( with the inclusion of additional downloadables you can ONLY get when you sign up )

• Close my account all together

  • Honestly there no reason to do this other than, to introduce more time for myself. As that is also important , it also takes way a point of communication between us + patreon keeps me busy and excited for new things.

• NO MORE physical rewards

  • it's really time consuming to design, plan, draw and create concepts for products. Not to mention the back and forth i have to do to make sure they look good

  • I still have other ways to provide a service, keep you all busy and connect with you all without physical rewards -- such as downloadable coloring sheets/books, artbreakdowns and guides, etc. This may just be the time Im able to focus on long term and long form projects, tutorials, teaching , videos ( again ) , comics and animations.

Nonetheless, this is sadly the only things I could come up so far and until jan 15th, I will be really hyperfocusing on these options. I'm currently Leaning towards the NO physical reward options, and transitioning to a more downloadable server. So expect a poll to help me determine. But lastly..

   "The EU expects to much from me ..."

So outside of the US tariffs issue, the EU will be Updating their regulation policy december 13th. This policies requires all sellars, local and overseas to either connect with an agent and list all the materials used to make the products in the description before allowing those from the EU to purchase goods. This means products that are hand painted, made from resin( keychains & standees),fashion apparel, dyes, paper coats ( like matte, glossy and other finishes) need to be clearly stated on the site and within the description of the product-- which helps them, with any unwanted/unknown toxins and materials coming into the EU territories. As I do my research, there still isn't any clear explanation on what is expected from artist like me. And though for the most part my manufactures list what they're working with on theirs sites, I can not fact check this at all. This is leaving me to have to decline any one within the EU currently until these rules are more clear. So this would be another reason why i may lean more towards no more physical items. As It's also being more expensive to ship to canada and I live in WIsconsin so yea..

So for now, I'll be really taking this month to push myself to make more content similar to what I may be pushing out next year to get your opinion. But this may be the last month for stickers, prints and other rewards. Please look out for more updates and feel free to tell me your concerns. But as for now, i'm working on Dec rewards and Nov. Ill be sending out Oct. rewards this week ( ill be honest I'm not a fan at all of those rewards) -- they didnt come out AT ALLLLL HOW I WANTED THEM. which is also stressing me out. so I apologize in advance for what is coming from oct.
