They're always coming back

This art is special to me so I decided that a higher level access to the high-rez would fit it.

It all began as a random idea I got about dead mother visiting her dead kid in their old room - but as soon as I started working on it more I got different story that started appearing in my head. And the story is about dead mom and son coming after the outlaw that killed them.

The Marlin 1898 shotgun is a hint that the guy is a 19th century outlaw, and it's probably the weapon he used to end them. Though I think it's the mother who got shot (hint - dark spots on her stomach), and the boy was strangled as he has these marks on his neck. Not a really good man. the outlaw got pissed at the boy for being a nuisance, and decided to get rid of him. Mother tried to help.
The outlaw is a middle aged man, not really a stupid one, maybe even interested in botany (hint - books about plants and a plant itself). But he suffers from alcoholism (hint - the bottle), and he's sleeping drunk. He'll probably think that it's all a nightmare caused the alcohol overdose, but... it's a supernatural reality where the ones who died violently will come after you. They aren't particularly very good people either, they're just humans, and they aren't obliged to forgive.
