Will's Play of the Week #2: I Didn't Have a CLUE
Added 2025-09-11 20:31:55 +0000 UTCHey folks! I'm going to aspire to upload my Will's Play of the Week videos on midweek days, so that they don't run too close to my Sunday main channel uploads.
When could giving up 52 points on the scoreboard ever be the right call in a Scrabble game? In this position, that may well have been what was called for.
NOTE for CSW players - LUZ# was not an option for me in this game, or it would have been well worth consideration at the bottom in the CLUE spot.
Remember, if you're a Scrabble player yourself and you encounter a position in any of your games that you think might be fun to feature in one of these videos, that's what the higher-tier perk is for, so let me know!

So useful. I hope when I face similar situations over the board that I hear your voice in my head explaining what to do.

2025-09-12 13:27:42 +0000 UTCThis was a really interesting video! Josh C and I paused it before the reveal to see if we could figure it out. He actually found the computer-suggested play after a while lmao and then spent the next five minutes convincing me it wasnβt the answer (because of what you mentioned Brendan could do in response) π Pretty neat snippet from your club game, so thank you for sharing! Iβd be interested to see what your chances actually would be like if you play the computer-suggested move and Brendan follows up with (SPOILERS AHEAD) a one-tile play. Like, heβd be up 15 after (MY)C, and then has to hope for a bingo in two spots or, if thereβs only one spot, has to outrun if you block. I wonder what draws heβd win with
