[Teen Wolf : A Chimera Rising—Chapter 67]
Added 2025-11-14 23:02:01 +0000 UTCTearing his eyes away from his honestly horrifying looking beastly aura he decided to focus on the other aspects of the trait.
Now that it was Assimilated with him he finally got some idea of what it truly did and to say that it was amazing would be under-selling it.
This Wild Magic Core granted him the ability to shift into primal forms of any beast bloodline he would assimilate into himself.
This allowed him the ability to shift into their animal forms.
But he could already do that with the use of [Chimera Shifter] so what this trait did was multiply that effect and enhance it with magic.
Instead of turning into normal versions of the were-forms Markus would take in the future, his complete True States were primal and more evolved for war in a manner of speaking.
The full shift of any were-forms he took would be bigger, primal and each form would apparently have its own unique ability.
That honestly was way more than he expected.
The trait was worth its [SS] rank title.
[—Ding! Assimilating Trait Boundless Love[A]....]
The trait instantly clicked into place, something that he was surprised about but quickly shrugged off.
He didn't feel anything from its which shouldn't have been that surprising due to the nature of it, seeing as it affected others and not him.
[—Assimilation Complete!]
I blinked as that was all said and done, shrugging that off I opened up my inventory to find all my items rewards stuffed there and also something a little extra.
[—Inventory—]
—A Bend In Magic[C]
—Trace Gloves[S]
—A Drop Of Cleansing Potion.
—Skill Stone[SS]
—The Beast Mask[A]
— Eagis Contract Scroll(X10)[S]
—Arcane Oak Sampling[SS]
—Tome Of Blessings[S]
—[-]—
He'd need to get that drop of cleansing potion to his clones, see what they could learn from it.
Aside from that he grabbed the Tome.
He was interested in the magic and he still had time while his clones finished up administering the serums to his prisoners.
The Tome Of Blessings seemed like an endgame magic of sort that one would see in video games.
The cover of the book was gold, pure gold with accents of magic woven through each molecule.
Immediately that showed him that this was the real deal, a tome that would teach him to weave his own spells.
Opening the first page he delved deep into the texts, finding them almost archaic in the way the language was so foreign in.
Shaking his head he decided to be serious about this.
So he let the reigns he held over his trait free.
[Genius Comprehension] roared to life with more fervor than he remembered, his higher [Mind] stat bolstering the traits capabilities as understanding started trickling in on the foreign language.
But that wasn't enough.
So he let another trait free from its chains.
[—Sigils Anchor[Trait] - You are a Sigil Anchor, a rare cast of the few who have understood the baseline of what makes reality. You have the ability to understand all that is infront of you, able to see what none can see and interact with it in ways that none can.]
Immediately after [Sigils Anchor] was activated he found the scribbles of text infront of him change, turning to indescribable runes and texts that seemed more like a language than what it had been.
Seeing this he immediately knew of a solution.
So again he let another trait free, already feeling his brain absorbing information at rapid pace.
[—Aura Source[Trait] - A Rare Trait only formed by those who are truly intune with Aura and it's Potential. Allowing those with it the ability to not only see aura but translate it into understandable form than the vague sense of emotions of its lesser power. It also allows an even deeper understanding and control of aura as a whole, breaching through to be able to even seamlessly integrate into other beings aura in a variety of manner.]
This trait allowed him to translate the aura that each rune, glyphs and sigils had and finally after all that he understood what was written infront of him.
‘ Incredible....’ He thought.
He wasn't only learning about blessing magic anymore, no, he was also learning of the language infront of him and the power it held and he was loving every second of it.

“ Boss, it's time.” Were the words that brought Markus out of his learning frenzy.
He blinked, a bit confused as to where he was before remembering the fact that he had been waiting.
‘ Wow, I must have really gotten absorbed by that book.’ He thought with a frown, throwing a quick nod to his clone and quickly putting the Tome inside his inventory.
He stood up from his chair and stretched his limbs, a content smile on his face before looking at the system screens that he had ignored.
[Aura Decryption has leveled up][X2]
[Rune-Script Magic Has Maxed Out!]
[Fuinjutsu has Maxed Out!]
[Sigil Magic has Maxed Out!]
[—Ding! You've learnt Blessing Magic[1]-]
[Blessing Magic has leveled up][X1]
Finally, all his Magical Language skills had maxed out, it seemed the stimulation granted by the Tome was what they all needed.
The other screens after that were more so what he expected.
[—Mind has increased by 8]
That was a big increase for just 2 hours of reading, but in that time he had comprehended a lot about the obscure magic of blessings.
Then there was another pop-up message that appeared that he hadn't expected.
[—Due to Skills ~ Rune-Script Magic[Max] - Fuinjutsu[Max] - Sigil Magic[Max] having reached max level, you have obtained a rare opportunity for a fusion evolution!]
[—Do you wish to fuse and evolve the skills ~ Rune-Script Magic[Max] - Fuinjutsu[Max] - Sigil Magic[Max] ?]
Seeing the screen Markus had to let out a sigh.
“ My system after its update is just throwing shit at me at this point.” He muttered out with shake of his head.
But thinking further on the screen infront of him he decided to say fuck it and agree, after all, what was the worst thing that could happen?
[—Ding! Initiating Fusion!.....]
