Hey Folks,
It´s time to paint our Ash Waste Stormcaller, aka the Helamite Herder!

I am really extremely sorry that it took so long to get something to you this month.
I have been herding a bug myself, if you want to call it like that!

I had planned to release the entire set of videos on the Helamite Herder this month, but I got completely derailed by the flu.
Please believe me, it feels super shitty not to be able to deliver on time, but that´s the danger of being a one-man show! I hope to be able to get the rest of the videos done by the beginning of next week!
I hope I will still be able to finish the diorama for the German Golden Demon, the last two weeks have really not been easy!

Anyways: To shorten the waiting time, I chose to release a video from the middle segment of the video.
We will be painting all the metallic parts using real metal paint (TMM).
We will approach it similarly to NMM regarding the placement of highlights and shadows.
By using matt, satin, and glossy/metallic paints in combination, we can achieve a beautifully rendered real-metal.
By keeping the shadows really flat, we don´t have any real-life light reflecting from the shadow areas.
We are keeping the midtones semi-metallic/ satin. The highlights will be painted with a super reflective fine-pigmented metallic ink. This way, we can create a TMM that works well in different light situations and even looks good in photos!
I will go and get some rest, again.. Sorry for the delay!!
Thanks for your support...I hope you enjoy this video
