Hey Folks,
This month´s episode is packed with different topics!
We have the beautiful woven wood basket, the colorful reflective nuts, the bone weapon, the mossy staff and we will also build and paint the base.

There is also a little unexpected addition to the list of topics: repairing a broken project...
I dropped Mister Mousin!! So before we are going to build the base we are preparing our little fella.

Luckily the damage looked much worse at first glance than it actually was.
We are starting with the different Nuts. I am starting very opaque because I want to paint the nuts quite contrasted and reflective.

After establishing different base colors for all the nuts we are working with the same trick that we have used for the tiny reflective black mouse eyes.
We are using a bit of Sky Blue in the highlighting process!
We are using the contrast color Wlydwood as a base color but also later on to create harmonizing shadows.
For the super beautiful woven wood basket, I want to keep the soft grain from the airbrush foundation. The result from the Airbrush was relatively fine and the grain just offers a minimal texture difference, but you can clearly see how we have a little more noise than with painted-on fur or the reflective nuts. Sometimes this little texture difference can help to set focal points in other areas.
We are also using contrast paints to get the initial color on our weapon established. We are adding warm highlights on the highlight side and cooler less intense highlights in the shadow area.
We are also using a neat little trick to change the hue: As the front turned out a little too yellow we are using a glaze the complementary color to knock down the saturation.

After our little repair excursion, we are working on the nature base.
We are creating the base from a mixture of found and bought materials.
I think the most important thing for our little showbase here is that we emphasize the scale of the mouse.
If we would just work with the regular pre-made grass tufts etc. we could run into the danger of making the mouse look super large.
We are creating long, super-thin, almost translucent blades of grass.
Along with the dried nature bits th, the longer grass helps to give it a sense of scale.

Alright, now it´s time to enjoy the video! Thanks for your support!

PS: The cautious Listener will notice : Pelle the Pug has a little audio guest appearance (I couldn't edit out all the ASMR Pug-snores)..
I hope you dont mind :D and dont fall asleep from it :D
