Hi Folks,
I hope you are all enjoying the summer and are cooling down from WME.
We have a month packed with Ka´Bandha videos!

Today we are starting with the Axe of Ka´Bandha

This is one of many videos on NMM,
and ... as you will see in this video... it´s mostly about contrast.
We have different forms of contrast. As always we are working with a high-value contrast, going from a dark shade to a very bright tone,
We have the cold/warm contrast between the demon's skin and the bluish steel weapon. We also have warm elements on the weapon itself, like the orange-brown rust, the deep red blood, or the bronze metal ornaments.
This super close proximity of warm and cold tones even enhances that contrast.
I wanted to create to look of an arcane rusted/patinaed weapon.
This creates an additional form of contrast, we have a texture and material contrast.
in the end, I am adding a last bit of detail, by adding small droplets and splats of glossy blood using Tamyia X27 clear red and a bit of black.
This adds another form of contrast- gloss contrast. We have the semi-flat
NMM, the very dull rust, and the super glossy sprinkled blood droplets.
Alright.. you can enjoy all that here in this video, have fun watching!!
Thank you for your support!
