Erynis- chapter 4- painting the magic key

The paint job on Erynis requires quite a few areas of glow.

From the background story, she is fueled by two different undead or ghostly energies. We have the magic blue glow: the eyes, the key, the hair and we also have the red glow from the soul-vessel, that contains the souls of the slain undead, this energy is also powering her armor, so we find it on the ritual skull shoulder pad and also the sword.

Compared to the concept art we are changing a few elements like the osl of the eyes, and also the color of the flames on the sword, but for the key, we are sticking to the ghostly blue shine.

As the key is located so close to the face, which is almost always the center of attention, especially on a bust, we are using the same colors that we have been using for the blue glow of the eyes to have a harmonious result.
