i have to disagree with erod on one matter, we need to see batman soon. if for no other reason than that we know, we KNOW. he will use the knowlage of supermans greatest weakness...the Bib

2023-10-02 23:52:15 +0000 UTCOne element I loved in this version was how Krypton was treated from Clark's point of view. Many versions have a hologram or consciousness of Jor-El who is able to explain everything to Clark. This version introduced the language barrier and made the whole affair even more confusing/distressing for Clark, which I liked more and more when the story kept returning to that plot point. Superman learning that people from his birthplace once tried to invade Earth, and how heartbroken he is - that's some good angst. And again - the language barrier limits how much of the whole situation he actually understands. Even by the end, I think he's only vaguely aware that the holographic man on the spaceship is his father.
