Sneaky Pete - Natural OSL

Hey Folks, thanks for all the birthday wishes!
Here is the video of how to paint a natural OSL. In this Video
I work more with glazes compared to most of my miniatures, to preserve some of the luminosity of the black and white foundation.

I have also not used any white in the painting process, having Model Color Ivory as my maximum highlight color to maintain a slightly warmer ambience.
Thanks for your Support!

Hi Dan, Interesting thought.. The problem is if you have to rewatch and edit (even if its only a bit of polishing and getting in the technical icons and the wetpalette)...It would just take way to long. Often people ask for shorter videos.. but I understand that you want to see where "the magic" happens. Its not easy to find the golden path...

Hey Erik, Glazes can be used for all kinds of things... On the Corporal 19th Indiana I wanted to play a little with the grain that I had from the black and white foundation. I think realistic clothes need somekind of the texture for sure and you need to observe how the material reflects light.. and I am sure in the process glazes would also play an important fact

Question if i remember correctly, you used a bit of the same technique in your painting Buddha video, where you painted the Corporal 19th Indiana miniature. Is natural OSL/glazing technique something you would recommend for painting realistic clothes?

Ben - a thought: Why not offer a higher tier subscription in which we can watch uncut painting for a project (at least as much as you actually record)? I've followed you since the PB days, and as I progress I find it's often the spots where you step aside and do the, "boring, repetitive work," that I'd like to see the subtle glazing and layering to create depth and volume. I'd certainly considering kicking in for a less edited but more complete set of clips.
