I'm rewatching and noticed something I missed the first time around. At the end of the last episode, Joel is on his porch playing Ellie's guitar. At the beginning of this episode when we see Ellie heading out the door to go on patrol with Jesse, we get a brief glimpse of the guitar in her apartment....🤔

2025-06-30 12:52:52 +0000 UTCImportant to remember,(as im sure some others may have mentioned in the comments)that Abby's dad was not unarmed technically. He picked up the Scalpel and walked towards Joel. Her father couldve lived if he just gave him Ellie,but he was protecting what he thought was a hope for humanity,and defended that belief. Where as Joel was trying to protect what he thought was the right thing,saving someone he loved. But thats why the writing is so damn good,because no matter what way you look at it,both sides are both right and wrong. Both doing something unspeakably brutal and soulless,but for what they believe was a just and morally good reason. Stories like this,i try not to choose a side,but just enjoy the great storytelling and understand every perspective. Both sides here pretty much mirror eachothers motives,all about revenge and believing in your truth of the situation. Love it so much,pure tragedy and heartbreak

I hope you sleep real well knowing that you murdered a man by beating him to death. I'm sure this will honor your father real well and he'd be so proud of you. Revenge is never the answer

No surprise that Craig and Neil stay true to the source material, but there are some interesting changes as well. Really hope you do a reaction to Part II of the game at some point too, but might need to wait until after Season 3 for that.
