I remember seeing it in theaters and it really solidified, for me, just how excellent Denis Villeneuve is as a director (this was prior to Blade Runner 2049 & Dune). just the cast, script, score, and Roger Deakins’ cinematography is all perfectly crafted to feel the full intensity of the story.
