That feeling when your video is perfectly sync’d to theirs lol 😆

I’ve watched Kingdom when it was hype.. but I usually tend to avoid historical Josean Dynasty Kdrama’s cause they’re so hard for me to follow for some reason.. so unless you guys have watched those type of Kdrama’s before I’m curious on how it’ll be for you.

ParkMinJeon

These are kids watching their friends and classmates turn into monsters. I get the frustration but its realistic in how minors would get through this on the first hours

Chavelle

Y'all def gotta check out Kingdom for more zombie content

To add on the discussion about human nature, I think it’s important to remember that the main characters are children. If adults are unpredictable when facing chaos and death, then imagine children. This series is great in its commentary of the youth having to sacrifice their childhood due to the failure of either the adults around them or the system hailed by their society. On-Jo mourning her friend makes the audience initially stressed, but that’s precisely the mourning these children were going through being overlooked by society before the zombies even came about—and the solution an adult had to the mourning was more violence. There are some interesting themes happening in regards to human nature.

So glad to see someone else recommending Kingdom! 🔥 The political drama adds so many different twists to the zombie genre or sub genre (what have you). The direction and fight choreography of Kingdom is awesome too! I don’t want to spoil them so I’ll just say the movie was amazing addition to the series.

Wondering if you would consider changing the subtitle settings on Netflix and adding black boxes to your subs for the uncut version. The all white subs, particularly when they are displayed over the students white shirts, are sometimes hard to read. Even just adding the see through boxes would help.

Maybe it’s the point where I am in my life, but I have found myself over-empathizing with the people that refuse to “let go”, specifically regarding the comments about On-jo, our lead girl. How absolutely gut-wrenching it would be to watch your loved one turn and then have to put them down. We see it in DV cases today. Even some of the really bad ones. We have this natural inclination that we can “save” someone, or believe they can change, even at our own expense. Our loved ones are loved for a reason. It takes an incredibly strong person to make that decision, or simply let someone make it for you. Also had a hard time with the comments about Na-yeon, our squid games girl. Sure she wasn’t helping and being insufferable, but to toss her innocence aside was akin to how the bully is sacrificing everyone to save himself. The parallel here is obviously who is the real monster in the film. This is my first time watching this and I’m choosing to watch along since I respect the maturity and sensibility of these reactions so maybe much will change as the show goes on. One thing is for sure, Koreans have nailed film acting. Thanks for all you guys do and look forward to the next episode!

Guys I’m only 18 minutes in , and I can tell the uncut screen recording is a bit off with your reaction.. it isn’t in sync and your reactions are 2-3 seconds late.. I noticed @10:56 @16:24 and @18:33..

ParkMinJeon

Im begging you guys to check out Kingdom next. Its essentially these type of zombies in 17th century Korea. Highly highly recommend!! Only 12 episodes as well.

PhatBoySteven

I know, I'm talking about them as a whole. They need to stop standing around and watching people turn

Ivan Rasmussen

didn't you see that one student that went jason statham as Quin mentioned ✌🏻

Rob OnlyRoss

I know that MQ and DD already reacted to it but since it was mentioned in here, I would love for you all to watch Train To Busan. I feel like especially Oak and Answer would enjoy the emotional part of it.

Jolie Lucks

This is really important to know because we don't notice until much later I think

Alexiani Gollarza

DD, with the bully in a white shirt, that thing about the blood is going to be answered. Also another comment (bluhawke) explained something that it's really important. You can read it and it will help some

Alexiani Gollarza

Oh yeah, I'm going to buy popcorn for that one. Can't wait for their reaction but mostly, their conversation afterwards

Alexiani Gollarza

I love how clumsy they are xD breaking by mistake the second window, throwing the wrong way the object, or the kick being a bit messy in the staircase.

Rena Unnie

They need to start killing some of these zombies otherwise they're screwed either way. A little bit frustrating most of them aren't even trying to take any out

Ivan Rasmussen

I love the plot and the drama of this series, not so much about the zombies. But having the infection originated from a mouse was unique. I can't wait for them to see all the "annoying" characters...like what OAK said..give her time.

Mari

Im just glad to see Oak’s staying lol

This is FTW for me, and i wasn't gonna post this theory in case someone accuses me of spoilers, but I think Oak is right: the writing is so good and they're giving us so much info in this first two episodes (minus how to kill--ep3, maybe?). Here is my theory on "delayed" or inconsistent turn times Based solely on what we've seen/heard in these first two episodes: Turning (getting stuck in Fight Mode) after infection (I won't say bit because we havent seen yet if blood through mucus membrane is a vector or not) is hinged on percieved certainty of death. The son turned when the bully was about to crush his skull (he turned twice, tho? Once he felt he was out of danger, he reverted some); the bully girl held hostage didn't go feral until Lee said he was gonna kill her (and she reverted back some once she felt out of danger); the gym teacher didn't turn until it was emphasized that he got bit, same with the girl in the bathroom. I-sak didn't fully turn until they pushed her away and reality set in, as it were. The scientist said he based it on prey animals who overcame their fear to fight back--fear to rage to preserve your own life. If you get bit, but either don't notice or convince yourself it'll be ok, it stays dormant. The people who turn immediately are certain they are going to die. I'm curious to see how many people revert like the son did in episode one. Obviously, not all prey animals fight back, so there must be something genetic or psychological that not everyone has.

Bluhawke

Diamond Dave is a legend! We love you! Also-could you please react to the official “Last of Us” Season 2 trailer? It dropped yesterday! It’s SO. GOOD.

Kaley

I appreciate you guys

dredre8424

Yeah, so like all zombie films, this also has inconsistent times to turn, for plot reasons

TheMilkMan

just gotta say i've really fallen behind with watching things with the boys, but always great to see you guys doing well and you dam well know i'll be here for anything marvel!! brave new world got a 3/5 answers from me when i went to see it for the record!

Ryan Bellefleur

Early this time, Diamond Dave is pumping them out.
