2025-03-26 23:22:46 +0000 UTCLoved this reaction and Love Sandra Bullock especially in comedies… The Proposal is a great feel good romantic comedy watch… probs my 4th or 5th personal fav Sandra Bullock movie… defo the best SB Comedy Movie in my opinion is Miss Congeniality. Would love to see a BADD MEDICINE reaction to it, think you guys would have a great fun time. Other fun SB films worth checking out: ‘Two Weeks Notice’ with Hugh Grant - another fun lighthearted romantic comedy. And Practical Magic with Nicole Kidman - a perennial guilty pleasure fav of mine too. 💜

So it's another one of Sandy's movies where she's the 'older' woman just like The Proposal. It's a super fun watch, so I would definitely recommend you guys add it to the list!

2025-03-09 06:17:33 +0000 UTCThis is one of the rare romcoms that I too didn't know where they were going to go with it when I first saw it in the theater. If they were going to go the traditional route of having them end up together or have him get back together with Gertrude. Because you could really see them going either way with it. And I always really liked that Gertrude was not a schemer, every reactor who watches this that I've seen thinks she's going to do something but no, she's a good person and knew Andrew was supposed to be with Margaret, she even helps him. I'm glad they went the traditional way because Ryan and Sandra had great chemistry. I always thought it was commendable that she was willing to take all the heat when she confessed at the wedding, didn't want to be a wedge between them. This movie is just so funny though, Betty White crushed it like always, along with the rest of the cast. I think my one issue with the film is I don't think they made her as bad as they were saying, I mean I get why they did that though, it has to be believable that they would fall for each other. There were a few things here or there that she would say or do but to call her a witch, a terrorist and I just didn't see any of that with her. Like with Bob, she had good reasons for firing him, she even was giving him 2 months to look for another job, that's actually pretty generous. And honestly, it kind of did feel like everyone in the office kind of slacked off when she was away and only worked when she was around, so I get why that would be annoying for her. And I never saw that she was threatening him at first but was giving him options, telling him what will happen if he didn't go along with it. And I completely agree with her, I think that would have happened.

Dude shouldn't be allowed to be that handsome, that ripped, that funny, and that savvy a businessman (and from what I've read, that genuinely nice). Leave some of that shit for the rest of us, guy.
