*SPOILERS FOR SHUTTER ISLAND* I would feel more sympathy and I think it’d be way cooler if they had Arron Paul’s villain character admit “omg I just killed my own family” and then immediately after show him breaking psychologically and then force the blame onto mark because he couldn’t handle the consequences himself mentally kinda like the end of shutter island.
