I definitely agree with you guys, this is not a bad movie. Some flaws and things that could have been better for sure, I agree with everything you mentioned, but it also had a decent story, the portrayal of the toxic father and how both brothers reacted differently to it was well done, the action was entertaining and they tried new things... At the very least an alright one time watch!

In my opinion it is worse than Morbius and on par with Madame Web. It breaks my heart to see my fav actor Russell Crowe just phoning it in nowadays. Hope he gets his drive back because when he is at the top of his game, very few are able to match him. 1/5 Answers.

In the back of my mind I'm thinking, "oh please, don't fight for real" but then you keep talking and speaking your minds and then you start laughing and I'm laughing and it's just great. Also, is it bad if I'm looking forward to the bad up-coming movies? lol if you are going to watch Morbius and Madam web, I am here for it xD

That and other things of course, it was an entertaining but it could have been way way better. Anyways, I'm enjoying this with you so I'll keep watch and I'm looking forward to your review

But you know something just really isn't a good film when the plot makes no sense, the story isn't consistent and there's just poor acting. Not to say that the actors are bad, I mean Russel Crow!? Oscar winner! Not a bad actor for sure. I hated wasting my time watching this movie in Theater no less because it's no good but more because I was hoping it was going to be good. Lesson learned. Sigh lol

2025-02-24 03:12:33 +0000 UTCim not gonna lie, i did actually enjoy this movie, but not so much for the story or actual plot it was more just because im a huuuge spider-man fan so any villain movie i GOTTA watch, also aaron did an awesome job, but they didn't really show his aggressive, unpredictable side which kinda ruined it, there were a few scenes that did show those things but not in the way a lot of fans wanted i believe

2025-02-23 06:31:58 +0000 UTCI agree all around, lol. Entertaining, some super cheesy spots, bad cgi, and definitely story cut for unknown reasons. Is it a masterpiece? No. Does it deserve as much hate as it got? Also, no, imo. I think my biggest hangup with it, and I don't remember a lot of Kraven from the comics except that he was completely ruthless, is that they portrayed him too positively. Yes, he has a 'code' but he's not an anti-hero in the sense that Venom is. He's brutal (kills Spiderman in at least one universe, which should tell you just how clever and powerful this guy is). He's dangerous and unpredictable--like a wild animal. Those vibes didn't really come out for me in this portrayal. That's my main gripe. (But this is an origin story, so i guess they could make him more savage later, but I was still wanting more of it in this one.) That and Aaron Taylor is an amazing actor and they definitely wasted his talent with this script. Glad he's getting more screen time these days, tho. He deserves it.

2025-02-23 04:48:48 +0000 UTCMy biggest issues were Rhino and the pacing. Rhino should NOT be a main villain ever. Pretty much most of the action we saw was in the trailer. I felt like they were very short and quick and then it was super dialogue heavy and it dragged. Glad most of you enjoyed it tho!

I was thinking the same thing and that was one of the few things throwing me off just a bit,not a big deal overall but yea. Mainly,the beginning scene when Kraven escapes the jail. He goes from a prison yard and then it cuts to him out in the middle of nowhere in a blizzard lmao It was so jarring i couldnt help but laugh. but damn DD..a 2.4?!? lmao

And while it had its moments of extra cheese and some shotty cgi at times,i thoroughly enjoyed this one. Alot of those red shirt deaths were kills ive never seen done before. They had a solid story going on and was pretty well acted all around. Nothing overstayed its welcome and Im glad we didnt spend too much time on Calypsos character,as im assuming they might be saving that for a part 2 if theyre making another one. All in all a solid fun popcorn movie. I could see myself turning this on in the background while im doing other things and just poke my head up at the fun parts. The reaction was alot of fun, 3.75 answers for me!
