But it's funny, Martin Kove, Thomas Ian Griffith and the CK writers have been posting memes after the show ended about Kreese being covered in bandages at a hospital or a bunch of other scenarios where Kreese and Silver survived lol. I just saw one on IG a magazine cover "Valley Monthly" with the headline "Where is Terry Silver?" That was posted by Jon Hurwitz just now. I wonder if it means anything.. lol

I didn't feel sad at all when I watched it on my own on Feb 13, but watching it on this channel it really hit different.. It's like.. man.. I got one more reaction channel to wait for to watch this last episode with them and then it's over. Like really over.

It's like how Oak called out them doing the locker room scene with Robby shot for shot and all these other things coz he's seen the OG movies so many times. I've watched this show like 8 times already I think. When Johnny is buying a pizza and the guy from the minimart grabs it with his bare hand and says to Miguel that Johnny has a small dick in Spanish, and he asks Miguel what he said and Miguel replied "You don't wanna know." And then when Hawk's trying to buy beer from the same guy he's pretending that Bert is his kid LOL. But yeah for a lot of these guys they watch so many things and that was so long ago. Another reactor said about the mailman in episode 12 or 13 "Is that guy supposed to be special?" and it was from Karate Kid 2. They watched it, but it was just so long ago they didn't remember. But the reason I was surprised is coz they (Badd Medicine) call out every call back, every reference to every movie. Oak literally on the first note was like YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! about You're the Best. lol That was the best reaction I've seen so far in any channel.

That was a pretty deep cut for this show, all things considered. Pawn shop guy was featured enough that he was pretty recognizable. Also regarding spinoff shows: apparently, they're talking about doing a Miyagi prequel.

I especially loved that they used it in a training scene that mimics the beach montage in Rocky III, since You're The Best was famously the runner-up song choice for Rocky III behind Eye of the Tiger.

The me as a 9 year old girl doing crane kicks with a dozen other 9 year old girls in Girl Scouts, after we'd seen Karate Kid in the theatre as a part of our annual sleepover. π Stuff like that stays with you. But I gotta mention one thing. Kreese actually didn't say "no mercy" before the boat exploded. Silver yelled out "No!" then Kreese said, "Mercy". In a way, it's interesting that "mercy" was Kreese's last word, given he harped on it being "for the weak" for over 40 years. My only real regret is we didn't get to experience the earlier seasons with you guys. Would you consider dropping reactions for those seasons you didn't do for the channel at some point? Not sure how often y'all rewatched the early seasons but it could be a good time, if you're up for it.

They were the guys watching in the bar that you said "Were we supposed to recognize those guys?" And also when Miguel showed up at the end that was a callback to KK2 when Daniel showed up at the airport at the last minute to go with Mr. Miyagi to Okinawa. This was a great reaction. They have talked about spinoff shows.. The whole Sam in Okinawa thing feels like it could be a spinoff show.

Glad they left out the Crane kick, that's a Miyagi-do move. The way Johnny won was perfect as it was a blend of the two styles - letting the opponent come to him but at the same time sweeping the leg. Johnny is still going to be Johnny, and that's great, but after the journey he's been on, you know he won't make the same mistakes as Kreese's Cobra Kai.
