My heart jumped for a second because there was Hunter x Hunter in the ending credits on netflix. One of the best anime ever made :) 3/5 from me. Just the right amount of awkwardness

2025-09-24 17:04:37 +0000 UTCI was 11 in sixth grade when this came out in April 2004. I didn't turn 12 until that June. I remember being fascinated with the whole movie. I never saw as a teenager though. I remember when it came out. A bunch of the mean girls who bullied me at church loved this movie. They were the same age as me and I tried not like the same things as them. I think I was 25 or 26 when I first saw this movie. So around 2017 or 2018. I watched this movie on my 30th birthday. I sobbed. This one of my favorite rom coms. Anything from this time period can be rough for me. I am glad that you guys enjoyed this movie.

I think I enjoyed it a lot more this time around, just two months from 30. I did forget the majority of the movie since its been so long, but it must have stuck with me in some compacity. The mom saying she wouldn't change anything, she had no regrets and the idea that you should not truly wish for any amount of time to pass- even a perceived bad time- because you don't know what you are gonna miss out on or rush past if you do--- these are things I have thought about and had in the back of my mind for years. I also married my high school sweetheart, though I am pretty sure this movie did not have as much influence on that as the former thoughts might have been. Real good reaction from you guys, happy I got to watch it with you all! Also, on a unrelated note, the Hunter X Hunter recommendation by Netflix there is really on point. Great story all around, really think you'd enjoy it.

I wanted so bad to be part of the preppy popular crowd and even had a crush on of the popular guys. This movie taught me that it was NOT worth changing myself to be considered "cool" and I stayed my nerdy self all the way until today. I'm rewatching it with you all now at 32 and am so grateful I never changed myself for anyone. So while it's a fun and silly romantic comedy, it had a major impact on me as a kid. Glad you all loved it! My theory is that she genuinely jumped time and to her, all of that DID happen.

Also a nostalgic movie for me. Came out in 2005. Same feeling for me. Hope you check it out at some point. But great reaction. I love you guys watching these romantic comedys.

My first concert I was like 10, my parents took us all to see him for older sisters 15th bday and I remember going in thinking I don't wanna see this bum.. And I think I had about as much fun as my sister did. He was great live. Been a fan ever since.. Although Jesse's girls is way overplayed he had a lot of songs that were better. :)

DD thanks for noticing Matt was engaged when he kissed Jenna (good moment though because you reactions were the best xD in MQ's words "his wedding stood no chance lol) also, MQ messing with Oak made my day BUT don't mess with Oak we'll defend him (side eye {kidding, love you all}) I honestly enjoyed this reaction a lot, I kind of want to watch it again to make notes on the time on my favorite parts (maybe I will). Listening to the review now! So happy for the early 5 answers from Oak. Also, it is so amazing to see you all 4. P.s: the "oh my God" from DD when Jenna went to the kid made my day lol edit: to answer MQ, I saw this when I was between 6 to 12 and haven't seen it for a very long time (I'm 26 now) and back then Jenna was the innocent person, even as an adult, I didn't pay attention to Matt's fiancΓ© or how evil Jenna was or her desire to be better, I was there for the fun moments and the romance. Seeing it now, man this movie has a lot of conversation behind it
